Lawrence "Larry" Hynek has more than 30 years of diverse management experience in accounting, finance and corporate operations. In 1985, Larry founded Hynek & Associates Inc., a consulting firm focusing primarily on consulting, charge compliance audits and accounts receivable services.
Over the past two decades, Mr. Hynek acquired additional consulting firms; eventually merging them into what is known today as Pyramid Healthcare Solutions. Pyramid is well known as a nationwide leader in healthcare financial management outsourcing and has over 300 employees serving customers in 40 states.
In his current role, Mr. Hutchinson assumes and liquidates all financial classes of hospital accounts receivables on location or remotely. He is also the founder and developer of the Unallocated Accounts Reconciliation and Disbursement Performance Bond program, which protects hospitals against third party and governmental liability and accurately resolves credit balances and abandoned property issues.
Mr. Hutchinson has managed and consulted for healthcare providers for more than 13 years and is a specialist in fiscal and operational efficiencies with an emphasis on maximizing cash flow and credit liability reduction.
Ms. Shimer has more than 30 years of healthcare administration experience and has earned more than a dozen of them in her role as Vice President of Pyramid Healthcare Solutions Charge Compliance Department. Before joining Pyramid, Ms. Shimer served nearly a decade as a hospital's business office manager.
In her current position, Ms. Shimer has been engaged in administering a wide range of projects for more than 40 medical facilities, ranging from small clinics to 900+ bed teaching facilities. Individual projects have included the addition of $15 million in net revenue at a single facility from lost revenue audit recovery services and the successful management of $35 million of past due receivables.
Ms. Gallagher has 30 years of healthcare experience, with 20 years in an acute hospital environment. In her current position, Ms. Gallagher is responsible for Pyramid's Health Information Management and Coding Division and also oversees all aspects of Pyramid's Human Resources department, With senior management experience in Operations as well as Human Resources she has served as Regional Vice President of Human Resources for a large, multi-facility healthcare system and has been a key figure in human resource roles for companies undergoing mergers, acquisitions and systems consolidations.
Ms. Brown has more than 25 years of experience in the health information management field. She's held several hospital management positions, including senior director over such departments as: Health Information Management, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Infection Control and Utilization Review. Most recently, she served as manager of HIM Consulting for a software company based in the Northeast.
Today, Ms. Brown currently represents AHIMA on the national Data Providers Certification Planning Team to implement the new requirements for reporting vital statistics information to the CDC and National Center for Statistics.
Ms. Spring has more than 25 years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM). Her career includes overseeing coded data quality and regulatory compliance, strategic planning, systems management, database administration, conversions, upgrades, and installation coordination. She is a proven leader and manager, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality in compliance.
Ms. Spring has held key management positions in the healthcare industry, not only in hospital settings but also within large hospital corporate organizations. She has served as Senior Director for Coding and HIM Compliance, Corporate Director for Coding and HIM Compliance, Division Manager for Clinical Financial Data Quality, and Resource Management Director.
Ms. Spring is also certified in Healthcare Compliance, Professional Healthcare Quality, and is a Registered Health Information Administrator.
Mr. Gallagher brings more than 15 years of infrastructure design and implementation experience to the Pyramid team. He has been a key figure in Pyramid's HIPAA System Security Implementation support to clients' healthcare facilities and has worked closely with Pyramid's HIPAA Privacy Officer to ensure privacy compliance practices.
Prior to joining Pyramid in 2001, Mr. Gallagher worked in the IT Departments for an international communications and information services company, as well as a national business-to-business supplier of essential office and computer products.
