Pyramid/Avantha Golf Outing

TPC Sawgrass Golf Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL,

Pyramid Avantha Golf OutingOn September 25th, Avantha Group and Pyramid Healthcare Solutions hosted a golf outing for our top clients with special guest, pro golfer Vijay Singh. The event took place at the TPC Sawgrass Golf Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, near Jacksonville. Top executives from Orlando Health, Bioscrip and preferred partner Mediquant were in attendance as well as Pyramid CEO Manoj Malhotra, COO Jay Hutchinson and CFO Kevin Stalbird. Pyramid VP of Sales and Marketing, Nav Ranajee was the onsite coordinator, ensuring everything was put together to perfection. A special thank you to PGT of India's Paddy Sandhu and the staff at the TPC Sawgrass Resort and Golf Course for their assistance and hospitality.

AHIMA Convention

McCormick Place-Lakeside Center, Chicago, IL

PHS had a successful showing at the 2012 AHIMA Convention in Chicago Oct 1st - 3rd. The biggest show of the year for the HIM industry attended by over 5000 professionals such as HIM Directors, coders, auditors and hospital CFOs. PHS had a large exhibit show booth and we raffled off a 42 inch LCD TV and also provided mini cupcakes with our pyramid logo on the icing. Angela Carmichael (AVP Coding and Auditing ) was a presenter during the ICD-10 Track 2 seminar and spoke on the "Key Strategies for Ensuring Clinical Revenue Integrity with ICD-10" which was well received.

Other PHS staff in attendance and manning the booth were VP of Sales and Marketing Nav Ranajee, AVP of Sales and Marketing Lou Lorenzano, CEO Manoj Malhotra, COO Jay Hutchinson, AVP of Cancer Registry Services Martha See, AVP of Revenue Cycle Strategy Dave Graham, Director of HR Michelle Anderson and our Sales team: Steve Cherry and Rhonda Newsom.
